They are sold in many good grocery stores and supermarkets not to mention health and whole food stores.
Can gerbils eat sesame seeds?
Yes, they can eat them. Just a handful at a time though as they are high in fat.
Gerbils love all kinds of seeds and will eat them all the time if they could. Seeds are a big favorite of gerbils and sesame seeds are just one of many types of seeds that they can eat.
They can be served on their own or as part of their staple food mixed in.
However, they shouldn’t be served them constantly.
When they are served as part of a good diet they can really benefit a gerbil.
A supplement of veggies and fruits can then back this up as well as hays and a constant supply of water in their water bottle.
