Can gerbils eat toilet paper?

Yes, they can. It is fine to be used as bedding and they can chew on it fine.

It is often used as bedding for their cages by owners and gerbils will often use it for their nests due to its soft texture.

However, just make sure it isn’t fragranced as fragranced toilet paper is not so good for them.

Even if they chew on it, they will be fine.
