Lavender is a genus of 47 known species of flowering plants in the mint family.

It is native to the Old World and is found from Cape Verde and the Canary Islands, Europe across to northern and eastern Africa, the Mediterranean, southwest Asia to southeast.

It is a very popular herb known for its aromatic smell.

Unfortunately they can’t it is just too potent for them to eat. There are better plants for them to consume such as daisies and dandelions.

It has a potent aroma which is used in many different culinary situations.

Unfortunately mint is just too potent a herb for gerbils to eat. The strong flavor and smell is too strong for them to handle.

They just can’t cope with the strength of the smell and flavor of mint than we can.

This means it is a food to avoid feeding a gerbil and should be avoided.
