Celery leaves are the leaves that are found on the top of celery stalks. They are green in color and are usually cut off and disposed off when preparing celery for eating or a culinary dish.
They are used in many different ways for culinary use such as being used in salads, as flavoring, added to pesto and added to stir fry’s.
So can gerbils eat celery leaves at all?
Unfortunately it’s not a good idea to feed them anything celery related due to the water content they have.
It is better to steer clear of feeding them to gerbils as there are better foods for them.
